I love the idea of publicly accessible cafes in Aged Care facilities like this. When local residents bring their families in for coffee and a snack alongside Aged care residents, it enables the Care residents to be back in society rather than feeling "locked away"

Ferndale gardens at Mortdale had one for a long time but unfortunately Covid restrictions have meant the public can not easily access it the cafe is now closed. Hopefully it reopens soon and more facilities are able to offer such a service.
